ANGIER NEWS

Thank you from the 5th Grade!
A huge thank you from the 5th grade for all the wonderful donations to this year’s community service project. The 5th graders donated 105 Birthday Bags filled with cake mix, frosting, sprinkles and candles to the Centre Street Food Pantry. THANK YOU ANGIER COMMUNITY!

Angier SEPAC Liaison — Volunteer Needed for the 2026-2027 School Year
After serving as Angier’s liaison to Newton’s Special Education Parent Advisory Council (SEPAC) for many years, the current liaison and family will be transitioning to being Angier alumni! We’re looking for a current Angier parent to step in and fill this role.

The liaison serves as the link between Angier families of students receiving special education services and the SEPAC Board — sharing news, resources, and questions and concerns as they arise. It’s a great way to stay connected, support fellow families, and have a voice in district-wide special education conversations.

Interested or want to learn more? Please reach out to either Orla Higgins or Rachel Griffin for more information about Angier’s specific needs, or contact Lindsay Klump at lindsay.klump@gmail.com, who serves as the Liaison Chair on the SEPAC Board and can answer any SEPAC-related questions.

Newton Schools Foundation Honor thy Teacher
Show your appreciation to your students’ teacher or school staff member by making a gift in their name to the Newton Schools Foundation.  NSF has supported every school in this district by providing educator-requested grants totaling more than $180,000 this year alone (and over $4million since 1985).  We are a 501(c)(3) organization that exists solely to support Newton Public Schools.  To see how your school has benefited from NSF support, please see here.

Each person honored receives a fun magnet (you see them around town) and we share the names with Dr. Nolin!  They are a beloved tradition among educators and staff!
