The Angier PTO holds some pretty great events throughout the school year that bring families together, encouraging kids to meet and play, and sometimes raise much needed funds. An Evening for Angier
Angier’s biggest party of the year is An Evening for Angier! A levels of fun for an evening out await you. Event details and FAQ’s will be published on when available.
Angier’s Third Community Bike and Rodeo Event
Under the guidance of Bike Newton and Safe Rides to School, Angier PTO hosts 3 simultaneous fun biking events for bikers of all skill levels! Join Angier families and staff members in 2024 when details become available!
Fun Fridays Movie Night
Grab a blanket, sleeping bag, or a cuddly toy and head for the Angier Cafetorium for the PTO sponsored Angier Fun Fridays Movie Night.
BUY-IT-NOW Events!
An old Angier fundraising favorite is being re-introduced to the community! Angier families and staff offer to donate and host an event for Angier parents, families and/or students (could be a cocktail party, theme dinner, family cookout, sports clinic, baking class, movie night play date). Do you have anything to offer? Feel free to team up with other families to host!
Kindergarten Play Dates
Families with kindergarten children are invited to come to the Angier playground, grab a treat, play, and meet other Kindergarten families! Watch for an email invitation in August.
Back-To-School Pizza Night
Greet old friends and make new ones at Angier’s annual Back-to-School Pizza Night every September! It’s a fun and casual way to welcome the new school year. Pre-order your cheese pizzas and drinks (juice/water included) or bring your own picnic dinner. Bring a blanket, and join us on the Angier field.
PJ’s & Pancakes
Come in your jammies and have a fun breakfast with other Angier families in the cafetorium at Angier for the return of PJ’s and Pancakes. Read about the details for here!
Angier Community Dinner
The Angier Community Dinner was a much-beloved, adults-only, progressive-dinner-style event where each course is served at a different house, with a different mix of guests. This is the second year we are hosting as a Community Tailgate event! It’s a terrific way to connect with friends old and new while helping Angier build a strong parent community. Plus, your attendance donation will help our PTO support the school. Read more about it here!

World Cultures Event
Come enjoy the culture, food, tradition, music, fashion and dance from around the world at Angier’s Annual World Cultures Celebration and Potluck. It is an evening to celebrate diversity in our community, doing cultural hands-on activities, enjoying traditional music and dance, sharing our food traditions and cooking secrets.
Boston Family Event
Every year the PTO sponsors an event giving the Newton families an excellent and fun opportunity to catchup with our Boston area families at the Boston Family Event.
Angier’s Got Talent
Angier’s Annual Talent show gives our budding artists, musicians, magicians, and sidekicks an opportunity to show off their skills at the Angier’s Got Talent talent show!

Angier Community Offerings are Angier family contributions that are bought by other Angier families!
