FAQ

Do I sign up as an individual or a couple?
If you are attending as a couple, please register with 2 tickets. Each person attending must be registered for an accurate headcount for hosts.

Can I attend as a single?
Yes! You are encouraged to attend as a single.

Are children invited?
The Angier Community Dinner is an adults-only event. Find your babysitters or schedule your sleep-unders now!

How do I know where I am assigned to dinner?
At the appetizer cocktail party your dinner host and location will be revealed by drawing cards.

What is the event schedule?
The evening begins at 6:30pm with a cocktail party at the home of one of three Angier families where guests will mingle grouped by grade level (i.e. K/1, 2/3, 4/5). After the cocktail party, you will move on to a small group dinner party beginning at 8pm. The festivities culminate when the whole community gathers at one final destination for dessert at 9:30pm.

What about dietary restrictions?
We have multiple hosts who can accommodate vegetarians. We are in search of hosts who can accommodate gluten-free diets. Please note your dietary requirements during registration.

What is required if I host dinner?
Dinner hosts will open up their home to a small group of Angier parents for a main course meal. Dinners are typically 6-14 people each. The meal can be as informal or involved as you desire. Historically some hosts have catered food and others have cooked. If you are able to accommodate particular dietary needs, such as gluten-free, that would be particularly helpful. The attendance donation is waived for all hosts.

Can I team up with other people to host?
Yes! You are welcome to team up with another family to host an event. Attendance donation is waived for all hosts.
