Thank you for considering supporting the Angier Elementary School PTO through our annual fundraiser, An Evening for Angier.

The Angier Elementary School PTO prides itself on building community and providing resources for the children and educators of Waban. The PTO’s investments in the school are above and beyond what Newton Public Schools provides.

What is Angier?

Angier Elementary School is a public school with around 400 students located in the Waban area of Newton, MA.

What is An Evening for Angier (AEFA)?

An Evening for Angier (or AEFA) is a community celebration for Angier parents / caregivers, teachers, and staff. It’s also the PTO’s biggest fundraiser of the year.

Where and when is it?

It will take place on Saturday, April 27th, at the Windsor Club, 1601 Beacon St in Waban.

Who attends?

The event is open to all parents, caregivers, educators, and staff affiliated with Angier Elementary School. Parents and caregivers purchase tickets to attend, however financial assistance is provided to those who need it.

Why does the PTO raise money?

Our PTO funds educational enrichment programs for students, provides additional support to classrooms, and enables Angier community-building. The PTO develops and supports resources for science, technology, classroom needs, and the arts.

Is my donation tax-deductible?

The PTO is a non-profit tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization. All sponsorships and donations are tax deductible. Tax ID Number: #20-1897532

How can my organization support the PTO?

There are many options available to community members:

Sponsorship

  • What is the benefit of being a sponsor? Our sponsors are the bedrock of the event and will be highlighted before, during, and after the event itself. Sponsor logos are prominently displayed on our ticket sales site and promotion materials. The event typically hosts 150-250 parents and caregivers from the Waban neighborhood. It is a great opportunity to get your business and brand in front of local families.

Auction

  • What is the benefit of donating to the auction? Donating to the auction is an easy way to contribute to our fundraising efforts. We use donated items to create unique packages that are part of our Silent Auction for the evening. The auction is robustly promoted before the event and live at the event, highlighting our donors to our local community.

Program Book Advertising

  • What is the program book? It is a guide for the auction. It is distributed to all Angier families, including those who do not attend the event. There are around 400 students at Angier, so it’s an effective way to get your name in front of local families.
