Angier Book Fair

GET READY TO READ

The First Angier Book Fair is April 9-11

WHAT IS IT?
A book sale, author visit, and community event

WHO SELECTED THE BOOKS?

  • The selection is curated by Angier’s own librarian Liz Donovan & reading specialist Megan Kamm, in partnership with the children’s book expert at Wellesley Books.
  • We will have around 100 different titles—including adult books!

HOW IS THE ANGIER BOOK FAIR DIFFERENT?

  • If able, families will pre-pay $20/child (hereso every child at Angier will be able to visit the fair with their classroom and choose one book to keep!  This allows the children to enjoy without bringing cash to school and without some kids getting more books than others.
  • Children will get a bookmark to note additional titles for families to purchase or check out of the library.
  • 4th and 5th grade classes will meet with author Elaine Dimopoulos

WHEN CAN FAMILIES SHOP?

  • Families can make additional purchases at Angier (room 205) On Wednesday April 9, from 7:50-9:00 and at the event, in the cafeteria on Thursday April 10 from 6-7:30 pm. Event details to follow.
  • Books can also be purchased at Wellesley books and wellesleybooks.com. Angier will receive 20% of all of our school’s purchases during our Book Fair time when you use code “ANGIER”

WHAT CAN I DO NOW?

  • If you are able, please donate now $20/per child (or more!) so that every Angier student will get a book to keep.
  • We are currently at 25% of our goal, please donate here now!
  • If you would like to volunteer to help set up, assist children with their book selection, or help at the event, please reach out to copresidents@angierpto.org
